What would you be doing if you weren’t cycling? Probably a ship captain, or either some other intense sport like motor cycle racer or hockey player.

Favorite Training Ride: Pembroke Pines-Key Biscayne

Favorite Race: Worlds!

Favorite Music: Electronic EDM, but also Classic rock. Two very different genres!

If you could race any cyclist (dead or alive) who would it be and what discipline: Fabian Cancellera up the Koppenberg.

Toughest race you’ve done and why: Ster Van Zuid Limburg Belgium 2014. In the last 25km of the final stage, I crashed 3 times in the rain, and was still able to catch the peloton and finish.

What cycling accomplishment are you most proud of? My first junior National title in 2011, I was young and it was a victory that gifted me with self realization that anything is possible with hard work. It gave me confidence to go on to podium three more times in junior national events and even win the criterium at 18 in my final junior nationals race.

Any unique pre-race routines or lucky charms? Before races I try to calm the nerves, and listen to my music. I have two lucky charms I wear. both with meaningful inscriptions in Swedish from my late grandmother, and grandfather who supports my cycling still.
