“Last year coming down Big Bear Mountain, Clay Murfet and I decided we would do our winter training in Tasmania. It’s funny how you can just meet a person and know they will have an impact on the rest of your life. During this trip, we wanted to make a movie about our story, and how we have come to the sport of professional cycling, along with providing an every day look into what we are fortunate to call our job. Our journeys to this point have been polar opposites, but something neither of us would change. Riding through the back mountains of Tasmania, we came through a little town called Pyengana. Pyengana is an Aboriginal word meaning “The meeting of two rivers”. The budget for this film was $0 (minus some film equipment) and was 100% filmed on a GoPro. We worked really hard on this film, and hope you all enjoy it. Thanks so much to our sponsors, Astellas Cycling Team for making this dream a reality, and for anyone who has played a role in us getting here.”
